Founded in 1990, Fundashon Bon Intenshon is exactly what it sounds like – a foundation for good intention.

Established in Curaçao, but not limited to, the Fundashon thinks big picture, and wishes to bring the island to the attention of the greater global community. It’s no secret that since its formation, this philanthropic force has kept its commitments to social betterment, beginning locally in its own back yard.

Charitable projects in the fields of education, athletics, cultural literacy, healthcare, tourism as well as other attempts to mitigate the impact of general poverty are all objectives. For instance, special attention has gone to the organization of programs designed for less fortunate youths. One such program, the Curaçao Soccer Academy, affords these disadvantaged youths opportunities to grow on multiple levels.

Curaçao North Sea Jazz festival and Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam are yet another two uniquely successful projects that have been made possible by Fundashon Bon Intenshon.

In addition to these projects, investments have been made in advertising campaigns to further the positive news and aim the spotlight on talented Antilleans within the Kingdom.

In the Netherlands, United Foundation, like Fundashon Bon Intenshon established by the founder of the United Group, supports various cultural projects and is main sponsor of International Film Festival Rotterdam.
